School to Prison Pipeline – This topic is important because it effects the quality of education received by students of color and students who identify as a part of the LGBTQ community. It is important for all involved in the education field to be aware of the issues surrounding this topic and the possible reasons as to why students are entering the prison system early. In order to ensure that all students get the education they need and deserve, it is important for educators to remain aware and constantly seek possible answers and solutions to this ongoing problem. 2.
